I started racing at 5 years old. I wanted to become a racer because my older brother Mason raced slingshot when he was my age. My dad Michael Trautschold and my best friend Matt Sheppard race Northeast Dirt Modifieds. I can't wait to race those when I'm bigger. At 5 years old I had 4 feature wins in a Microd including a championship. At 6 years old I had a total of 8 feature wins in a Microd. I won my very first slingshot race at 7 years old at Hamlin Speedway. In 2024, I won two track championships before my 9th birthday. In 2025 I won 3 track championships and finished 2nd in the world championship weekend.

On 7/15/23 I won my first ever slingshot feature at Hamlin Speedway at 7 years old!!

Again I have to thank Mike Dicely @ Hyper Racing for allowing me to wheel a Junior Sprint car again this year at the Tulsa Shootout in Tulsa Oklahoma. The first racing of the 2026 year! I drove the raced the Junior Sprint a few times in 2025 to get some extra seat time. Not only did I really enjoy racing the Junior Sprint at the Tulsa Shootout again, but I will definitely be back again next year. As always it was a great experience, and I could not be more proud or happy of how far I was able to make it. There was 130 Junior Sprint cars registered. After day #1 they only kept the top 72. My heat race I started 8th which was fine by me because passing points are the way to go! I started 8th and worked my way up to 4th real fast, I was eager to redeem myself after last year that I wasn't patient enough and tried to make a pass for 3rd and we ended up getting together as the other car came down, I fell back to 6th but was able to finish 5th. Not the passing points we wanted but we had enough to transfer to a qualifier. My qualifier I started 9th again hoping for my great passing points. I was able to finish 4th right with the 2nd and 3rd place cars before I got loose and just maintained 4th with allowed me to advance to the B-Main the following day. The B-Main I started 1st and didn't get a great start I ended up finished 3rd. This year they changed it up allowing the top 3 from each B-Main to go into the Last Chance Qualifier so I had another chance to make it in the show. I started 12th, I had a really good run the first start hoping I could pass some cars but another car slid up the track taking me to the wall. After that I just couldn't get the momentun rolling again and I finished 12th. Another year of not making the show but another fun time with seat time, learning more about these cars and getting to follow my passion! I was able to carry the flag out in opening ceremonies which was real cool. Stay tuned for those updates!

I had an amazing opportunity presented to me by Mike Dicely @ Hyper Racing to wheel a Junior Sprint car this year at the Tulsa Shootout located in Tulsa Oklahoma. The first racing of the 2025 year in a car I've never raced. I really enjoyed racing the Junior Sprint and can't wait for next year. It was a great experience, and I could not be more proud or happy of how far I was able to make it. There was 110 Junior Sprint cars registered. After day #1 they only kept the top 60 which I was well in, so I was able to move forward. My heat race I started 3rd and went right to 2nd briefly pressuring the leader but then maintained a 2nd place run for almost the whole heat race. Being this was my first time ever racing this type of car I was learning the lines to run and i missed my line allowing the 3rd place car to get under me so needless to say I finished 3rd. I again was able to advance to the next day which was qualifiers. My qualifier I started 8th and drove up to 4th gaining enough passing points to advance to the B-Main the following day. The B-Main was our last chance to make the Tulsa Shootout. I started 4th and they were only taking two. We took the start and I immediately went to 2nd and was gaining on the leader. After a pretty decent size wreck and a caution there was a caution and the leader and the 3rd place car who race Junior Sprints took a restart that I knew nothing about and unfortunately it was good enough to put me back to 3rd and I did not make the A-Main. One spot out of one of the biggest races of the year and in a car, I had never raced before was a little upsetting, but I was happy to make it as far as I did and thankful for the opportunity that was presented to me. I will be back in the Junior Sprint car for 7 days straight of racing for PA Speedweek in July. Stay tuned for those updates!

Thank you for stopping by!

I raced this division at 5 years old. I test drove one of the club members' kids' cars half way through the season and immediately decided I wanted to race there. We stopped on the way home to look at a car for sale, said we'd be in touch. We made it a couple miles down the road and we called to make arrangements to buy it and have it delivered to the track the very next weekend! My first real race night I won the first heat, the elimination heat, led the whole feature and coming out of turn 4 when the flagger started to wave the checkered flag, I let off the gas and finished 2nd. For the rest of the 2021 year, I had 5 heat wins, 5 elimination heat wins, 4 feature wins including the championship, 3 triple crowns, 2 second place finishes. We started the following season of 2022 there and only raced half the season ending up with 7 heat wins, 6 elimination heat wins, 4 feature wins, 4 triple crowns and 2 second place finishes. Then we sold the car, bought a slingshot and finished the rest of the season figuring the new division out.
